Shackles for bucket conveyors
Hardened shackles for conveyors are manufacutred from 2 distinct materials coded RC4 and RC5
RC4
Highly resistant shackles of RC4 quality for conveyors are manufactured in accordance to the DIN 745 norm from manganese alloyed steel (eg. 21Mn4Al). Surface hardness 700 HV measured 0,25 mm below the surfaceat the bend, carburizing depth HTÄ 0,1 d +/- 0,01 d. Hardening depth Eht at 0,06 d amounts to more than 550 HV and depends on the shackle size.
Testing force 125 N/mm2, breaking force 240 N/mm2.
RC5
RC5
Highly resistant shackles of RC5 quality for conveyors are manufactured in accordance to the DIN 745 norm from chrome and nickel enriched steel (eg. 15CrNi6). Surface hardness 700 HV measured 0,25 mm below the surface at the bend, carburizing depth HTÄ 0,1 d +/- 0,01 d. Hardening depth Eht at 0,06 d amounts to more than 550 HV and depends on the shackle size.
Testing force 125 N/mm2, breaking force 300 N/mm2.
